  THAT’S WHAT I THINK GOD WOULD SAY

Down on my knees I asked the Lord above   

What can I say or do that must be done
If someone’s lost and needs to hear the truth today

Here’s what I think God would say
 

The world will try to change what’s right and wrong
Say there is no truth that’s true for everyone
Yea, contradiction fills the culture of the day 

But here’s what I think God would say
 

I think God would say

Everything’s gonna be okay

He’s in control and he knows just what to do

Get on your knees and pray

Read the Bible every day

So you’ll be close to him and know the truth

Then you can live it, love it, share it, and from it

Live a life like you were made and meant to do

And Rejoice (Hallelujah), Rejoice (Hallelujah)

Rejoice (Hal-le-lu-jah)

 Rejoice (Hallelujah), Everything’s gonna be okay

That’s what I think God would say

The world says all religions are the same

That they lead to the same God with different names

And they condone a kind of love that’s not okay

But here’s what I think God would say

I think God would say

Jesus is the way

He died up on the cross and rose for you

Get on your knees and pray

Read the Bible every day

So you’ll be close to him and know the truth

Then you can live it, love it, share it, and from it

Live a life like you were made and meant to do

 And Rejoice (Hallelujah), Rejoice (Hallelujah)

 Rejoice (Hal-le-lu-jah)

Rejoice (Hallelujah), Yea, Jesus is the way

That’s what I think God would say

If you believe it, ask him, into your heart

 And with your mouth say I believe it’s true

Then you can live it, love it, share it, and from it

Live a life like you were made and meant to do
